Superintendent of Schools

Graduated from Fort Hays State in 1983 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Special Education.  Completed my Master’s Degree from FHSU in 1988 in Building Administration and my District Level Certification in 2011.  Before moving to Norton, I had experience as an Elementary Principal, a Junior High Principal, and a High School Principal/AD in addition to being  a Special Education Director in two of my previous jobs.

Prior to becoming the Superintendent of Schools for USD 211, I served 16 years as the Elementary Principal at Eisenhower Elementary in Norton.  Gail and I have been married for 34 years and we have two adult girls Katharine (Ashton)  and Bethany (Spencer) and are proud grandparents of three girls, Elenora, Clara and Mabel.
